Microsoft Excel defines the standard for spreadsheet applications and what-if analysis.  This software will manipulate database tables, manage and track financial and inventory data, or work with any data you supply.  This is a powerful and flexible tool widely used in all industries at all levels.

All courses may be delivered onsite in your company’s meeting room or other common area, and we always work to your schedule. Our mobile lab is equipped to provide a laptop, mouse, and mouse pad for up to ten participants. Printed training materials and email support (after the training) is included.

Excel 2013 Core Essentials

Summary

This first-level course covers all the essentials of Microsoft Excel 2013. Topics include formatting text, data, and workbooks; insert art and objects; and chart data. We’ll also explore the new Flash Fill feature, using formulas and functions, inserting PivotTables and PivotCharts, and customizing the interface. Even experienced Excel users will come away with something new!

This course is recommended for new Excel users.


Excel 2013 Advanced Essentials

Summary

In this advanced course, we build on the skills covered in Core Essentials. We’ll cover a wide range of topics, including advanced formula tasks, working with named ranges, using advanced functions, resolving formula errors, managing data, outlining and grouping data, working with scenarios, using Solver, the Analysis ToolPak, PivotTable features, using PowerPivot, and developing macros.

Recommendation

This course is recommended for users who have mastered the Core Essentials and are ready to tackle more advanced formulas and analysis tools.


Excel 2013 Expert

Summary

In this upper-level course, participants build upon the Core and Advanced Essentials. We will look at conditional formatting, slicers, Power View, the Inquire Add-In, tables, records and fields, using Excel as a database, custom AutoFill lists, comments, tracking changes, as well as linking, consolidating, and combining data.

Recommendation

This course is recommended for advanced-level Excel users who work with large amounts of data on a regular basis.
